how come Oasis is one of the biggest rock bands in the world except the USA?
they are headlining with foo fighters in toronto in august at the virgin music fest.

That’s because tastes differ.
No matter what the marketing, if the American people, or any other people aren’t interested in a product, then it’s just too bad. And music, is a product.
Ive heard of Oasis some how so there must be many here that likes the band
Because they weren’t promoted right here…..I still think Liam is HOT
They’re different but not like "wierd, creepy" different. It’s good, and they infuse a lot of different genres and sounds into their music.
That and they’re EXTREMEMLY high-energy. I saw them in concert, and although they’re an "aged" band (not old but experienced) they bring it and get everyone jacked up on music.
They sing about life. Like WONDERWALL, it’s all about things that people are still going through.
I think that’s why people love them.
because america thinks they are to good for that. also america cant understand what oasis is all about.
I don’t understand it either. Wonderwall and champagne supernova are AWESOME!
i dont get it either!
ummm i dont think their that popualr in canada. none of my firends listen to them…
might just be toronto people tho..
I haven’t noticed. I don’t care how big they are, the music’s good.
corporate controlled radio (ie Clear Channel)-not enough airplay.
did you know Wonderwall was voted by the British public as the best British rock song ever?
